CHRSW has also worked for communal harmony. In the year 2005 and 2006 with the financial support of National Communal Harmony Foundation (NCHF) New Delhi, the organization conducted several activities to increase brotherhood and motivated people of various communities to come together.

Inter-Community Deepawali Mailan

Our ‘Communal Harmony program of year 2005 began with inter-community Dipawali get-together  (Deepawali Milan Samaroh) which took place on Nov 1st, 2005 followers of various religions were present in the meeting that was organized at Johri Bazar Jaipur.

Chief Guest of the event was Justice Navrang Tibrewal former Governor of Rajasthan and former Chief justice of Rajasthan High Court. Other important persons to grace the occasion were Member of Parliament Mr. Girdhari Lal Bhargawa and Addition District Collector Jaipur Mr. Hari Shankear Bhardwaj. The function started with all religion-prayer. People wished “Happy Diwali” to each other. At ‘Namaz’ time Muslim guests performed their prayer and others paid their respect. Guests of various communities expressed their views on love, brotherhood, religious tolerance etc. Mr.Ikram Rajasthani then Dy director of All India Radio compaired the entire programe. Programe concluded with ‘Roza Iftar’.

Inter-Community ‘Eid Milan’

Another event of communal harmony for that year was Inter Community Eid Milan (Eid -Get-Together) on Nov 4th, 2005.

Chief Guest of this program was Mr. Harishanker Bharadwaj Additional District Collector Jaipur. Important persons of various communities were present in the function that took place at ‘Jama Masjid’ Johari Bazar Jaipur.

Warm wishes and flowers were presented to Muslims by persons of other communities Poems in Urdu and Hindi on peace, haymayand and brotherhood were read by poets. People of various communities enjoyed sweet “Sevian” prepared by Hindus for their Muslim brother.

Communal Harmony Rally

Nov.19th, 2005 was day for “Communal Harmony Rally” which started at 9.00 A.M. from ‘Sanjay Circle’ at Chand Pole in Jaipur and reached “Badi Choupad” where it turned into meeting. Mr. Rajeshwar Singh District Collector of Jaipur was Chief Guest. He read aloud the pledge of unity and oneness and over 1200 boys and girls of several schools in Jaipur repeated it after Mr. Singh. Then he flagged off rally. Boys and girls had placards & banner of communal harmony. They all chanted songs and slogans of unity, love and brotherhood. Religious leader of various faiths were present in the meeting. They expressed their views .The meeting concluded after 2.00 p.m. As rally was organized during Communal Harmony week, administration gave full support. Besides, District collector other important persons who were present in rally and meeting were Mr. Hari Shanker Bhardwaj Additional District collector, Member of National Executive of RSS Mr. Indresh Sharma, renowned philanthropist social worker of Jaipur Dr Gyanesh Haldia, Chief of Char Drwaza Jaipur Mahmood Miyan  and Chief of all Gurudwaras of Jaipur Mr. Thakur Singh.

Communal Harmony Cultural Evening

On Nov.20th, 2005 a cultural evening was organized former Governor of Rajasthan and former Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Mr Navrang Tibrewal was chief guest. Other guests of honour were Mr. Hari Shankar Bhardwaj Additional District Collector, Mr. Ganesh Narayan Vyas former chief Secretary, Mr. M.A. Ansari Chair man of Madarsa Board, Mr. A.R. Khan former IAS etc. Various cultural activities that took place included patriotic songs and poems, one act play, mono acting etc. A number of Dignitaries were honored by placing turbans on their heads and shawls on shoulders. CHRSW secretary Saroj Khan was also honored for organising the programme succesfully. Program concluded with dinner for all.

Inter Community Dialogue

It was third event of CHRSW during “Communal Harmony week” of 2005 Home Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria was Chief Guest of this event which took place at ‘Suchana Kendra’ (Information Centre) Jaipur other guests of honor were Mr. Navrand Tibrewal former governor of Rajasthan, Mr. Ganesh Narayan Vyas former Dy Secretary of State and Religious Gurus of Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Christianity. ‘After all faith prayer’ inters religion dialogue of unity and brotherhood took place. Important persons were honored with mementos and certificates.

“National Unity Mushaiara”

Communal Harmony program of year 2006 started with a “National Unity Mushiara” on September 7th 2006 at Suchana Kendra (Information Centre) Jaipur Toran gate was made. Two elephants greeted guests’ boy scouts and girl guides presented rose flowers to every body. Rangoli was made at the entrance of Hall. Pamphlets were also distributed to guests and people outside. It was ‘Vande Matram’ Centenary Day. Over 460 persons of various religious faiths were presents in this Mushiara many eminent poets read their verses Sher-o-Shiary was exciting and full of feelings of Love, brotherhood, peace and harmony. Many persons were honored for their work for communal harmony peace and brotherhood.

Prior to this a survey was conducted in 7 districts of the State in which 177 person (include 70 women) participated. It was found that the controversy relating to ‘Vande Matram’ that was dividing the communities was baseless and Muslims did not have and objection against ‘Vande Matram’ to be chanted in schools.

Important persons who  graced the event were Mr. Jasbeer Singh Chairman of State Minority Commission Rajasthan, Mr. Hidayt Khan Dholia Chairman of Madarsa Board Rajasthan, Mr. Ashok Parnami Mayor of Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Mr. Rajendra Bhanawat Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur Mr. Naseemuddin Khan Pyare Mian,  Mr Indresh Kumar Sharma National Executive, member of RSS, Renowned scholar of Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hindi  Maulana Shamsi Tehrami, Former Minister, Ms Ujala Arora, Chairman of Rajasthan Waqf Board Mr Salawat Khan, Akhtar Parveen Chairperson of Urdu Academy, Dr Kishan Singh chair person Medical practitioners society.

Many Mohalla meetings were also conducted during year 2005 to sensitize people about peace and harmony.

During the year 2006 all the programs of 2005 were conducted together with some new ones. 

Deepawali Milan Samaroh (Deepawali get together)

Prior to Deepawali Milan, a number of meetings were at various locations of Jaipur to discuss the importance of Deepawali Milan, Eid Milan and Christmas Milan in view of communal harmony Deepawali get together took place on Oct 20th, 2006

It was the last Thursday of the month of Ramzan at Jama Masjid Jaipur Namazies presented their Hindu brothers sweets and flowers and wished them “Happy Deepawali” Secretary of Jama Masjid also presented flowers to Hindus.

Over 800 people participated in the event. 5000 stickers and pamphlets carrying message of Communal Harmony were distributed on this occasion.

‘Eid Milan’ 2006

Eid get together’ was held at two places Graveyard and Dargah of ‘Miskeen Shah’ Ghatgate Jaipur. Communal Harmony sticker was released. Flowers were presented. Over 5000 stickers and pamphlets were distributed.

Inter Community Dialogue

This event took place on Oct 24th, 2006 at various places in Jaipur. This time the message of programme was to make essential amenities available to all needy ones. Chief Guest of the programme was Mr Jasbeer Singh Chairperson of state Minority Commission Rajasthan. Other Important persons were Mr M.R. Singhvi former director of Doordarshan Jaipur, Mr K.K. Khetan former director of Kota Open University. Mr Salawat Khan Chairman Muslim ‘Waqf Board’ Rajasthan, Mr Salim Engineer Chairman Jamat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan.

Communal Harmony Rally

An impressive Communal harmony Rally was organised in communal Sensitive area Hassanpura, in Jaipur on 25th November, 2006. Rajasthan Social welfare Minister, Madan Dilawer, Rajasthan Waqf Board Chairman, Mr.salawat Khan, Rajasthan Minorities Commission Chairman, Sardar Jasbir Singh, Rajasthan Madarsa Board Chairman, Mr. Hidayat Khan Dholia were present in the rally in which one thousand school children took part.

At the last point rally converted into a public meeting programme. It gave a communal harmony message. ‘Communal Harmony Quiz’ winner of  Madarsa were awarded prizes by Sardar Jasbeer Singh, Shri Madan Dilawar, Shree Salawat Khan and Shri H.K. Dholia.

Chirstmas Milan’

On Dec.25th2006, ‘Christmas Milan’ took place at St. Andrews Church at Chandpole Jaipur. Permission for it was obtained from Father Nerald Dimonti. Stickers of communal harmony were distributed to all those who came to church for Christmas father Dimonti said in his address that God is love. That Christ has asked to love even enemies. Flowers and sweet were distributed.

Communal Harmony ‘Quiz’

Hassanpura is a very sensitive area in Jaipur City knowing this fact. “Communal Harmony Quiz” programme were conducted in four schools.

For this purpose a Questioners of 75 important questions was formed on national festivals, names of great persons, names of political leaders, and on various religious..
